Even today I wonder why I did my bachelors in engineer? Was it due to my interest or the social pressure?
It was a sheer coincidence I came across Dr. Praveen Srivastava while trying my luck on getting a job. When I first spoke to Sir over phone, I was very nervous and lacked confidence. I received a call from his secretary after a few days and I got the opportunity to talk to Praveen Sir for the 2ndtime, during this telecon I gathered confidence and explained everything to him. He made me comfortable by his counselling and advised me to meet him at his office.
The next thing was the most exciting event of my life – I got a job offer from his company. I must admit that I failed to complete a few initial tasks but under his guidance quickly picked up things and started handling projects in the team. I was fortunate to work closely with Dr. Praveen Sir who mentored me and taught each job related subject like a teacher. I still can’t forget the Covid lockdown days when we worked odd hours to complete the urgent tasks.
I got the opportunity to handle software development coordination for our e-commerce venture, which gave a different dimension to my career. I learnt the intricacies of e-commerce business quickly as I got involved in both software development and operations of the new venture during Covid-19 lockdowns due to shortage of manpower and my staying close to the office. It was a blessing in disguise for me.
With the newly acquired knowledge of e-commerce, I got an offer from Byju’s in their business development department and Praveen Sir gladly allowed me to go for better career prospects. Had it not been Dr. Praveen Srivastava’s mentoring, I would not have reached this position where I am today in such a short time. All credit to Praveen Sir for making me realise my potential and guiding me to achieve my career goals. Today I am the Regional Manager at Asset Homez International Properties LLC at Dubai and feel glad to have built a successful career in just a span of 2 years.

But when you help someone build a career, you change his life forever.” This aptly suits me and I am indebted to Dr. Praveen Srivastava Sir for changing my life. I pray God to keep Praveen Sir healthy and fit to continue his noble work of mentoring people and building their careers.
